Outsourcing web design projects

PJD Web Design and outsourcing.

If you find yourself overloaded then please contact us for help.

As a web design company, sometimes we have a lot of work on our hands. That work is usually accompanied by time limits.

We have to ask ourselves whether or not to add freelancers to our team or call in the help of other web design companies.

As we are a company of independent freelancers we always have the capacity to cope. Each freelancer in our group helps the others out when they get overloaded or call on the office for assistance.

We are regularly asked for projects from companies in India but they never seem to 'Share - back' so we took the decision to not outsource to anybody who does not reciprocate. We can guarantee that a website required in English is exactly that. And a website required in Urdu is exactly that as we would use a freelancer native to the language spoken.

If you wanted to join us as a freelancer you must be prepared to share back and promote the company as a whole. Passing round any projects will inevitably mean projects will be passed to you.

PJD Web Design will monitor the whole process and help you overcome any issues you come across. It doesn't cost you anything except a little time in promotional activities for the group.

About PJD Web Design

PJD Web Design was originally created in 1997 out of a need for affordable web sites for ordinary people. We do not all have medium to large scale businesses and it was originally aimed at those with only a few employees.

We found another niche with people who wanted family web sites but could not afford the associated costs.

These days PJD Web Design has its Head office in Derby. Basically, we are a collection of freelancers who specialise in the following:

  • Web design in general
  • PSD to HTML ( we build from pure CSS

Why is SEO important

The Importance of SEO

SEO = Search Engine Optimisation

As a web designer, I am often asked what is the importance of SEO and do I need it. Well, the answer all depends on what your planning to do with your website.

Presumably, you already have a web site or about to get one, you now have to ask yourself about the kind of visitors to your website. If its just a family website that you can share with friends and relatives from all over the world you do not necessarily need SEO.

However, If you are selling a product or service, it is important that you reach potential customers from all over the place. This is where SEO is something to consider seriously.

People who know you and your products and services will be able to find your email address from invoices or catalogues that you send them. Others will not. These people will be using search engines on the internet such as Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.

Try it for yourself...
Search for something and you will get a list of answers ranked by relevance and importance to the words that you typed into the search engine.

Most people get bored with trawling through the millions of results that do get listed and give up after the first few pages and try a new search.

This is where SEO becomes very useful. If you know how search engines attach relevance to key words in your website then you can get higher up those search results and people will start to find you.

SEO should be handled from the very start, before you even design your website.

If you would like specific help the please contact me or PJD Web Design for free and impartial advice.
